New Delhi. 27 June 2026. The nature of crime has changed dramatically in the digital age, making forensic science one of the most critical pillars of modern investigations. Today’s investigators rely not only on traditional forensic disciplines such as DNA analysis, fingerprint examination, ballistics, toxicology, handwriting analysis and crime scene reconstruction, but increasingly on advanced digital forensics, including mobile forensics, computer and hard disk forensics, cloud forensics, network forensics, drone forensics, cryptocurrency and blockchain forensics, multimedia forensics, audio and video analysis, cyber forensics and e-discovery.

Artificial intelligence, big data analytics and multilingual voice intelligence are further transforming how investigators process massive volumes of digital evidence, identify hidden links and reconstruct criminal activities. As criminals exploit emerging technologies, law enforcement agencies must continually strengthen their forensic capabilities to ensure investigations remain evidence-driven, accurate and legally robust. In today’s security environment, forensic science has evolved from being a supporting investigative tool to becoming the backbone of intelligence-led policing, counter-terrorism, cybercrime investigations and national security operations.

As cybercrime grows in sophistication and digital evidence becomes central to modern investigations, law enforcement and security agencies are increasingly relying on advanced forensic technologies to stay ahead of criminals. From mobile devices and cloud platforms to encrypted communications and cryptocurrency transactions, investigators today face an ever-expanding digital landscape that demands intelligent, integrated and secure solutions.

At Police Expo 2026, Pelorus Technologies showcased a comprehensive portfolio of indigenous and globally partnered digital intelligence, forensic and cyber investigation solutions designed to empower investigators with faster, smarter and intelligence-led capabilities. In this exclusive conversation with Aviation & Defence Universe (ADU), David Arambhan, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Pelorus Technologies, discusses the company’s technology ecosystem, strategic partnerships, multilingual intelligence capabilities, growing adoption among government agencies and how Pelorus is helping transform digital investigations across India’s defence, homeland security and law enforcement sectors.

ADU. What is Pelorus showcasing at Police Expo 2026 and what are these exhibits outside on the periphery of the stand?

David Arambhan. At Police Expo 2026 we are exhibiting the complete range of our products, both made by ourselves and by our partners. What you see on this large wall size display are the in-house products of Pelorus. These are Mobile Forensics, Computer Disk Forensics, Cloud Forensics, Network Forensics, and specialized areas like Drone Forensics and Managed E-Discovery. We equip investigating officers with technologies that help them connect the dots faster, analyse digital evidence more efficiently and generate actionable intelligence for quicker and more informed decision-making. So what you see are the key technology partners of Pelorus.

ADU. Can you name them and what do they offer?

David Arambhan. Yes . We have Amped Software, which offers advanced image and video forensic solutions for analysing, enhancing and authenticating digital visual evidence, ADF Solutions, providing digital forensic software designed for rapid triage and comprehensive investigations across multiple devices, Cellebrite, a global leader in digital intelligence solutions that enables law enforcement agencies to securely access, collect and analyse digital evidence from a wide range of devices, Cyble, delivering cyber intelligence and threat intelligence capabilities that help organisations detect, monitor and respond to emerging cyber threats, Cognite, whose solutions enable effective data management and contextualisation, allowing investigators to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets, Jamf, specialising in device management and security for Apple ecosystems, helping organisations securely manage and protect Apple devices used in operational environments, Pi Labs, showcasing advanced forensic and investigative technologies that enhance digital evidence collection, analysis and investigative workflows.

ADU. How do these products of the partners add value?

David Arambhan. These are technologies which provide an intelligence ecosystem which support law enforcement and investigative agencies in conducting faster, more accurate and intelligence-led investigations while addressing the evolving challenges of digital crime and cyber-enabled threats.

ADU. What is the focus Pelorus has technologically?

David Arambhan. Focus is to fill critical capability gaps in the existing ecosystem. Pelorus has solutions for digital forensics also voice analysis and helps in solving financial crime. We have a list of products starting from mobile forensics to cybersecurity to threat intelligence and many more. Our products help investigators to connect the dots faster and accurately. We are building an Integrated Intelligence Ecosystem for Law Enforcement in homeland security ecosystem and for the armed forces too .

ADU. In defense and intelligence, innovation and security go hand in hand. Are all armed forces and homeland security organisations your customers?

David Arambhan. Yes and that is because our solutions are reliable, secure and impactful. We have more than fifty government organisations including state police forces whom we service.

ADU. And does this come with it’s share of challenges?

David Arambhan.  Not much technologically. Convincing them to use the technology might be a little challenging. But once they understand it’s use and importance, they become diehard fans of these technologies and ofcourse it makes their work so easy.

ADU. Is it true that your products are multilingual?

David Arambhan. Yes it is true. Intelligence and investigations are multiple languages and regions. Solutions such as SpeakInt are built to transcribe, translate and analyse hours of multilingual audio within minutes. Importantly, the entire process can be carried out securely and completely offline, ensuring that sensitive information remains protected while enabling investigators to extract actionable intelligence quickly and efficiently.

ADU. How has the footfall been ?

David Arambhan. Very good. As you can see the stand is filled to capacity. Pelorus has been attracting customers and visitors continuously and we have all been very busy in meetings. And this is positive.

ADU. Has digital forensics taken over traditional forensics?

David Arambhan. As digital crime continues to evolve, investigative agencies require far more than conventional forensic tools—they need integrated intelligence platforms capable of processing vast amounts of digital evidence quickly, securely and accurately. Through its portfolio of indigenous solutions and partnerships with leading global technology providers, Pelorus is building an ecosystem that enables investigators to analyse data, uncover hidden connections and accelerate decision-making.

From multilingual voice intelligence and digital forensics to cyber threat analysis and cloud investigations, Pelorus is helping strengthen the technological capabilities of more than fifty government organisations across India. As David Arambhan explains, the company’s mission extends beyond delivering technology—it is about enabling investigators to solve increasingly complex cases with confidence, efficiency and operational reliability. The enthusiastic response at Police Expo 2026 reflects the growing recognition that digital intelligence has become an indispensable pillar of modern policing and homeland security.
