Kuala Lampur. 16 April 2018. Nexter, land defense system integrator, is exhibiting its know-how in the field of artillery. The 105 LG1 gun, can be towed by a light vehicle, transported by an average helicopter (PUMA or Bell 212 type) or parachuted by a tactical transport aircraft (type C130-Hercules), will be in real on the group’s booth.
The self-propelled artillery system 155mm/52 Cal. CAESAR® will be exhibited as a mock-up. These two systems now equip more than a dozen armies around the world. The Fire Control System FINDART will complete the Nexter’s artillery global solution. In the field of naval medium-caliber weapons systems, Nexter will present the NARWHAL® and the 15A. The NARWHAL®, combining the effectiveness of a 20M621 gun, electro-optical day/night cameras and a moving target tracking function, is ideally suited for surveillance and maritime police operations, as well as interception or self defense. The 15A, a 20mm gun and ultralight naval mounting, constitutes the ideal solution for interception and self defense missions.
In the range of armored vehicles, Nexter group will exhibit two mock-ups of TITUS®, in its MTB version and Homeland Security. This 6×6 armored vehicle, adaptable to the operational requirements of the armed forces and security, is able to evolve with high mobility on all types of terrain and offers high maneuverability capabilities, especially in urban and mountainous areas. The entire ammunition range, from 20 to 155mm, for land, naval and air-land systems will be displayed at the DSA exhibition.
The FINDMP® solution providing tactical thought process support for enemy, environment and field analysis will be demonstrated on our booth. FINDMP® is used in command posts, in command vehicles or dismounted. The Nexter Robotics Nerva® surveillance and recognition mini-robot range, as well as the major NRBC (Nuclear Biological Radiological Chemical) risk-treatment solutions proposed by NBC-Sys, a subsidiary of the Nexter Group will complete the booth.
