FARNBOROUGH, England. 18 July 2018. L3 Commercial Aviation announced a contract with Zhuhai Xiang Yi Aviation Technology Co., Ltd., a China Southern Airlines Company, to provide four Full Flight Simulators (FFS) for its training centers in Zhuhai, China. For this substantial order, the company will provide two Airbus A320 and two Boeing 737 RealitySeven simulators. This marks the first time that China Southern Airlines has purchased simulators from L3. The devices are scheduled for delivery within one year, with the first due as early as the second half of 2018 and the final device by the end of the first quarter of 2019.

The swift delivery will support the airline’s pressing requirement to increase its training capabilities and capacity following its recent investment in expanding and modernizing its fleet. China Southern Airlines is currently scheduled to take delivery of 309 aircraft over the next three years.
