New Delhi|02 November 2026: Order inflow during the quarter was ₹481.81 crore, taking the consolidated order book to ₹1,375.70 crore as at 30 September 2026. The order book continued to grow as execution accelerated during the quarter, reflecting sustained demand across Zen’s product categories.

This demand is underpinned by a supportive policy environment. The Defence Acquisition Council recently accorded Acceptance of Necessity to capital acquisition proposals, of which around 82% is earmarked for sourcing from the domestic defence industry, including categories in which Zen has fielded products. As indigenisation becomes central to defence procurement in India, Zen’s ownership of its core technology positions it as a natural beneficiary of this shift.

Commenting on the results, Ashok Atluri, Chairman and Managing Director, said: “This quarter marks a defining milestone in Zen’s growth trajectory. Zen reported its highest-ever consolidated quarterly revenue of ₹345.13 crore, a growth of 98.8% year on year, at a healthy Operational EBITDA margin of 38.2%. These results reflect the scale of the execution capability we have built over the years. Zen has begun delivering the Fast Track Procurement orders received last year, ahead of the contractual timelines. That is possible because the technology is ours – there is no foreign licensor to go back to when the Army changes a requirement, so the product changes in weeks, not procurement cycles. This translates directly into a significantly faster turnaround, enabling us to respond to evolving operational needs at the speed the Armed Forces require. With the sector moving decisively towards indigenisation, this ownership of our core technology places Zen in a strong position to capitalise on the opportunities ahead.”
