New Delhi. 27 July 2023. Kargil Vijay Diwas, a 108-feet tall High Mast National Flag measuring 30′ x 20′, was hoisted at BSF BOP Munabao in Barmer, Rajasthan.
Ravi Gandhi, IG BSF Gujarat Frontier dedicated the Flag to BOP Munabao and to border population in presence of Maj Gen Ashim Kohli (Retd), Secretary General, Flag Foundation of India, and Shri P S Bhatti, DIG Sector, BSF Barmer.
This auspicious occasion was graced by Officers and all Ranks of BSF besides large number of villagers, Govt officials and students from Govt Residential School, Jaisindhar and nearby villages.
The National Flag was presented by Navin Jindal, President, Flag Foundation of India. In his address, Ravi Gandhi IG BSF expressed his gratitude to Flag Foundation of India and also mentioned that this Flag would inspire all seema praharis and border population of village Munabao situated at Indo-Pak border.
