Aviation India Summit 2026 is pleased to announce that Pradeep Panicker, the Chief Executive Officer of Delhi International Airport, has joined the illustrious list of top-flight Indian aviation executives speaking at the 2026 summit, being held in Delhi from 3-4 November.

Mr Panicker is a seasoned Indian airport executive. He has spent 16 years at the GMR Group, serving as the CEO of Hyderabad International Airport for six years before being appointed the head of Delhi in June this year.

The airport he leads handled over 78 million passengers in 2025, ranking it 11th among the world’s largest airports globally and the largest airport in the country.

Over the past few years, the airport has undertaken a comprehensive expansion and modernization program, including the addition of a fourth runway, expanded international processing infrastructure, and the conversion of Pier C, at Delhi’s Terminal 3 from domestic to international operations. 

At the heart of Delhi Airport’s strategy is its evolution into India’s leading hub-and-spoke gateway, aggregating passenger traffic from across the country and connecting it seamlessly to global destinations. 

A key pillar of GMR’s strategy is airport-city development and Delhi is at the forefront of the company’s drive with the Delhi Aerocity complex evolving into a major commercial ecosystem comprising hospitality, offices, retail, healthcare, convention facilities and mixed-use developments that complement airport operations and monetize the airport’s strategic location.
