At the heart of the event is an in-depth presentation of BAA Training’s flagship Indian Cadet Pilot Program, a structured, end-to-end training pathway tailored for Indian nationals with no prior flying experience. Within approximately two years, cadets can earn an EASA commercial pilot license, complete DGCA theory and license conversion, and undergo DGCA Type Rating, enabling them to apply for First Officer positions with domestic and international airlines.
One of the defining advantages of this program is its dual-license track (EASA + DGCA), which significantly broadens career prospects both within India and in the global aviation market. Delivered in partnership with Air India Express, the program provides a robust foundation and a strong pathway to direct airline employment upon successful completion.
In addition to the structured training modules, the program offers cadets valuable global exposure with key components conducted in Europe, where students train in a diverse international environment.
The training journey begins with theoretical training conducted either in Lithuania or Spain. It is followed by intensive flight training at the Lleida–Alguaire International Airport in Spain, where cadets train using the Cessna 172S, a modern and reliable aircraft equipped with Garmin G1000 avionics, enhancing situational awareness and providing a superior training experience. Upon returning to India, cadets undertake DGCA theory along with FRTOL and EASA license conversion to the Indian CPL (FCL). The final phase includes the DGCA Type Rating, which is conducted at one of BAA Training’s facilities in Europe or Vietnam.
To enhance accessibility, BAA Training has partnered with leading Indian banks to provide 100% financing options for eligible applicants. Prospective candidates must be at least 18 years old and have successfully completed 10+2 education with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized board or university.
The Pilot Orientation Day offers attendees more than just program insights, it is also an opportunity to engage in free one-on-one career counseling with aviation experts. The participants will receive guidance on program structure, licensing pathways and financial planning, along with a realistic picture of the career outlook.
