Moscow. 28 August 2021. ARMY 2021 International Military-Technical Forum kicked off in Armenia on the territory of the Russian military base of the Southern Military District.
At the opening of the Forum, servicemen of the air base of the Southern Military District, located in Yerevan, performed a demonstration flight of aviation over the cities of Armenia.
During the event, at a static display of weapons and military equipment, guests will be presented with up to 50 samples of modern and historical combat vehicles: T-72B3 tanks, BMP-1 and BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles, BTR-80 armored personnel carrier, Tiger armored vehicles.
In addition to the combined arms component, weapons and equipment of various types of troops are presented.
Events within the framework of the IMTF are held from 27 to 29 August. In particular, in the Southern Military District on the territories of the Patriot parks of the Stavropol Territory, in Vladikavkaz, Volgograd, Kaspiysk, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria and in Chechnya.
