The period of excitement due to the launch of a new venture continued all along last month.
An interesting feedback session was held with available members of the Advisory Board. The suggestions filtered have been incorporated, wherever possible and I request all of them to keep giving their inputs. It will help us to improve.
Curtain raiser for the International Fleet Review 2016 chaired by the CNS Admiral.RK Dhowan was attended & reported on the website.
It was time for recognition for ADU and the Editor was invited by Airbus to attend its Defence & Space Trade Media Briefing at Seville in Spain. The report is already on the website, while the Photos of the Week depict other details about A.400M developed by Airbus Defence Space. Reports on other Airbus D&S aircraft will follow.
I attended APHS (Asia Pacific Homeland Security) 2015 at Singapore as well as. the exhibition on Homeland Security which displayed equipment & gazettes developed by Germany, France, Japan, Singapore etc.I also attended a conference on Smart Cities which was conducted by French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore. The stress .was on ‘better planned & integrated cities’,’ green & energy efficient buildings’, smart urban mobility’, ‘safe & secure cities’,’ digital networks’ ,’energy networks &’environmental networks’.
The traffic to the website has been steadily increasing and there have been encouraging mails from the visitors of the site. We also have got healthy criticism and suggestions which have helped us to improve and I really appreciate it.
