• Strategic partnership to enable production of two types of ammunition with an expected capacity of approximately 100 million rounds annually; project valued at €50 million

Mumbai, September 7, 2026 – Tembo Global Industries Limited (NSE: TEMBO), a prominent player in the industrial sector with expertise across engineering mechanics, design load calculations, drawings, specifications, manufacturing, supply and project execution, and operations spanning sectors including oil & gas, chemicals, construction, power, shipbuilding, nuclear power, HVAC, anti-vibration systems, defence, and various industrial, commercial, utility and OEM installations, today announced that its subsidiary Tembo Classic Engineering Pvt. Ltd. has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Lachaussee SA, Belgium, for the establishment of a complete production line for two types of ammunition in India.

Under the proposed partnership, Lachaussee SA and Tembo Classic Engineering Pvt. Ltd. will supply a complete production line for the manufacture of two types of ammunition. The facility is expected to have a production capacity of approximately 100 million rounds per year. The project is valued at approximately €50 million, with deliveries scheduled for 2028 and 2029.

The MOU marks an important step in Tembo Global Industries’ continued expansion into the defence manufacturing sector and further strengthens its engineering, manufacturing and project execution capabilities. The proposed production line also aligns with the broader Make in India vision of strengthening domestic manufacturing capabilities and building a robust defence manufacturing ecosystem within the country.
