Reporting directly to the MBDA Chief Executive Officer Eric Béranger and in addition to his existing responsibilities, Renzo Tosini has also been appointed as Managing Director of MBDA Italia.
As Executive Vice President Sales & Business Development, Renzo Tosini will lead an integrated multinational team, responsible for the Group’s order intake. His mission is to sustain MBDA’s long-term performance, strengthening the understanding of customers’ operational needs and to continue developing the most effective solutions to meet current and future operational requirements.
As Managing Director of MBDA Italia, Renzo Tosini will be the legal representative of the Group in Italy, maintaining the quality of relations with the Italian customers and end-users, as well as the industrial community. Within his responsibilities, he will ensure continuity of the production ramp up in Italy, that started in previous years in response to the current geopolitical context.

Renzo Tosini joined MBDA in 2024 both as the Executive Group Director Technology & Performance and Co-General Manager of MBDA Italia. In January 2026, he was appointed Executive Vice President for Procurement. He joined MBDA after spending his career in positions of increasing responsibilities within Leonardo, holding a number of engineering and technology roles as well as managing several business units. He was appointed Land and Sea Business Area Deputy Managing Director (2023) and previously Chief Technology Innovation Officer (2021-2023) both in the Electronics division of Leonardo. He also held the position of Managing Director of Orizzonte Sistemi Navali company (51% Fincantieri – 49% Leonardo), from 2020 to 2023. He began his career in 1992 in ISL (Logistics Systems Engineering), after attaining a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering (telecommunications), at the University of Pisa.
