 Defexpo2018, the 10th in the series of biennial Land, Naval and Internal Homeland Security Systems Exhibition is being held in being held at, Chennai, India. MKU is showcasing state-of-the-art solutions for Indian Army, Navy, Coast Guard and other services for upcoming requirements.

Looking at the opportunities of more than INR 12,000 Cr in the defence and homeland security domain being serviced by MKU, we remain positive and bullish towards the Indian market. MKU has signed an MoU with the UP Government for an investment of INR 1,000 crore in the newly announced Uttar Pradesh Defence Corridor by Prime Minister Modi in February, 2018. Located in the heart of the corridor, MKU is looking at several opportunities from MoD and MHA based on expected RFIs’.

In addition to the protection solutions for body and platforms, MKU is also showcasingits newly developed IDDM range of electro optic systems at Defexpo 2018. These include various Thermal Imaging Devices, Night Vision Devices, Laser Range Finder and Day EO Devices.

Make-in-India has raised lot of interest amongst the international Defence Manufacturers. Leading Foreign OEMs are forging alliances with MKU to offer vast array of products which includes Electro-optics, Rifles and Remote Controlled Weapon Systems, to name a few.

Keeping in mind the special requirements of the Indian Forces for its upcoming vehicle programs. MKU will also showcase blast protection solutions along with special materials to defend land systems from RPG’s. Also on display will be MoST (Modular SchutzTechnik) range of light weight armour for airborne platforms.
