Navi Mumbai/ Kolkata (17 Sep, 2026) – Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) Ltd., a Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has been conferred the “Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar” in the category of Public Sector Undertakings for the year 2025–26 by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, in recognition of its outstanding implementation of Official Language Hindi.
The award was received by Cmde PR Hari, IN (Retd.), Chairman & Managing Director, GRSE, from Amit Shah, Hon’ble Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation, during the Hindi Diwas celebrations and the Sixth All India Official Language Conference held at Navi Mumbai on 14 Sep 26.
The event was graced by Devendra Fadnavis, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Sunetra Pawar, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Nityanand Rai, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Hon’ble Minister of State for Home Affairs; Naresh Ganpat Mhaskey, Member of Parliament, Loksabha-Thane/Navi Mumbai, Pune, Anshuli Arya, IAS, Secretary, Department of Official Language; Capt (IN) P Sunilkumar (Retd.), Director (Corporate Planning & Personnel), GRSE, Manish Kumar Singh, Senior Manager (Official Language), GRSE along with scholars of Hindi and dignitaries from across the country.
