Paris. 23 October 2018. In the naval field, ECA Group offers a wide range of innovative and comprehensive technological solutions to face current and future challenges, constantly innovating to improve their capabilities and performance, allowing the Naval Forces to carry out ever more complex missions in hostile or restrictive environments. During your visit, you will appreciate:

Robotics & Integrated Systems

ECA Group will showcase its range of air and naval robotic systems such as AUVs, ROVs, UAVs and USVs as well as its fully integrated Unmanned Maritime Systems UMISTM suite. ECA Group robots are optimized to successfully perform missions in areas of Mine Counter Measures, Homeland Security, Oceanography and Hydrography.

The complete Unmanned Maritime and Integrated Systems – UMISTM – will be presented with their mission management software suites and data. Already used by several renowned Navies, these systems have proven their performances in Mine Counter measures. In addition, this year, we will present our capabilities to integrate our robotic systems aboard the naval platforms.

Ships, Systems and Equipment

In addition to supplying robotic systems, ECA Group supplies a number of Systems & Equipment for Submarines as well as Surface Ships: platform management, control & command systems, and propulsion & energy systems.

ECA Group is also specialized in the measurement and processing of acoustic and electromagnetic signatures, including magnetic signature reduction systems and multi-influence measuring stations thus reducing and controlling the risk for ships to be detected, classified and located.

In this area of ship signing, ECA Group received the 2016 EURONAVAL Innovation Award from the Minister of Defence for its STERNA® patent, an aerial portable magnetic ranging system based on the UAV IT180.

Architecture and Naval Engineering

ECA Group relies on the MAURIC Company for the design of its Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) as well as for the integration of its robotic systems on the ships of its customers. MAURIC designs dozens of ships each year for a wide variety of customers in Europe. Come and discover on our booth some examples of naval platforms that best integrate the different ECA Group robotic systems with flow optimization, launch/recovery operations or maintenance on board. Furthermore, MAURIC is in charge of integrating project management when modernizing equipment on export defence vessels.
