Minsk,Belarus. 26 March 2019. During the 2019 Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) Belarus will be represented by a joint stand of the State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus. The stand will feature products of KB Radar and Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant.

The defense technology export company Belspetsvneshtechnika will act as the main exhibitor and collective organizer of the joint stand. OAO 558 Aircraft Repair Plant will arrange an exposition of its own. It will be the seventh time the company takes part in LIMA. The Belarusian products on display will include the latest defense technologies and capabilities of enterprises run by the State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus.

The products will include the Belarusian grenade launcher Sapfir, the ability to upgrade air-to-air R-73 missiles, the ability to repair and modernize aircraft and helicopters, make and supply coastal defense solutions, develop and make unmanned aerial vehicles and radio warfare protection equipment, and the ability to profoundly upgrade various air defense missile systems such as Pechora 2BM, Trio, Kvadrat, and so on. The Belarusian delegation to LIMA 2019 will be led by Belspetsvneshtechnika Director Aleksei Skraga. Plans have been made for an extensive business program. Bilateral meetings with top officers of the Malaysian army, foreign partner companies and customers will be held.

The implementation of existing agreements and prospects of further interaction in the sphere of military technology cooperation will be discussed. LIMA 2019 is scheduled to take place in Malaysia on 26-30 March. The expo has been held on the Malaysian island of Langkawi since 1991 under the auspices of the Malaysian government, the Defense Ministry, and the Malaysian Armed Forces biannually.
