Aviation India 2025: Keynote Speaker and Supporting Association Partners Announced

New Delhi. 11 March 2025. Times Aerospace Events will host the second edition of the Aviation India & South Asia Summit and Exhibition on October 29-30, 2025, at JW Marriott, Aero City, New Delhi. The event, to be held in strategic partnership with the MRO Association of India, will serve as a premier platform for aviation leaders, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to discuss the future of Indian aviation. With a focus on growth, innovation, and self-reliance in engineering and technical services, the summit will play a vital role in shaping the next phase of the region’s aviation sector.

Building on the success of its inaugural edition, Aviation India 2025 will bring together airlines, cargo and business aviation operators, government bodies, regulators, airports, lessors, OEMs, MROs, training institutions, finance and leasing firms, insurance providers, law firms, and aviation service suppliers to explore the evolving landscape of the industry.

 Additionally, the Business Aircraft Operators Association (BAOA) of India has returned as a supporting partner, reinforcing the event’s role in addressing key challenges and opportunities within India’s growing aviation ecosystem.

Operating under the theme “Aviation India 2025: Shaping the Pathway for Indian Aviation,” the summit will delve into the rapid transformation of the sector, unlocking growth potential across the Indian subcontinent. Air India, a major supporter of the event, has confirmed its CEO, Campbell Wilson, as a keynote speaker.

The summit will debate and examine how the industry is transforming at pace to unlock growth bringing together leaders from across India and the Subcontinent. “Even at this early stage, we are delighted to confirm Air India as a major supporter of Aviation India 2025, and its CEO, Campbell Wilson as one of the keynote speakers at the Summit,” said Mark Brown, managing director of Times Aerospace Events.

To help shape the content and programme of the 2-day summit, Times Aerospace Events is bringing together a panel of Indian aviation experts to assist in this effort.

By 2025 end, the Government of India aims to operationalize more than 220 airports, up from the existing 184 operational and non-operational airports. The Krishi Udan 2.0 Scheme covers 29 states, facilitating agricultural exports via air connectivity. India’s medical tourism sector was projected to grow at a CAGR of 21.1% from 2020 to 2027. Additionally, 50 airports are set to be developed under a low-cost model, including PPP initiatives. The Travel and Tourism market has forecasted to grow by 7.9%, reaching USD 270.5 billion in 2023, up from USD 119.4 billion in 2012. For last-mile connectivity, 184 routes are awarded under UDAN 4.2, including 16 for helicopters, 50 for seaplanes, and 118 for small aircraft, enhancing regional accessibility across the country.

As India’s aviation sector continues its rapid expansion, Aviation India 2025 will serve as a crucial platform for industry stakeholders to debate challenges, explore opportunities, and drive innovation. With the MRO Association of India and BAOA as strategic partners, and Air India’s CEO Campbell Wilson as a keynote speaker, the event promises to shape the future of aviation in India and the South Asian region.

The successful Times Aerospace Aviation Africa events, which started in 2015 and have been held in Rwanda, Egypt, Ethiopia, Nigeria, and South Africa, serve as the model for the Aviation India 2025 event.
