VIKING has been appointed as Official Preferred Global Sales and Service Partner for the full range of respiratory protection equipment and mobile gas detection equipment offered by Dräger to the maritime industry.

The agreement formalises and expands an existing cooperation between two recognised front-runners in maritime safety. It reflects a strategic decision by Dräger management to work with a global partner with the capability to support its marine products worldwide.

Under the terms of the agreement, VIKING becomes Dräger’s trusted Official Preferred Global Sales and Service Partner for respiratory protection equipment and mobile gas detection equipment across the global maritime shipping industry.

Ahead of a formal signing ceremony, staged on 2 September at SMM 2026 in Hamburg, Henrik Helsinghof, CEO, VIKING Life-Saving Equipment, commented: “Both VIKING and Dräger are renowned for their expertise and for the quality of their equipment.
