May 24, 2026 Nagpur:The National Academy of Defence Production, a unit of Munitions India Limited, has been honoured with the prestigious “Institute with Best Academic and Industry Interface” award at the Global Education Excellence Summit & Awards 2026 organised by VE BizTalk Media on 23 May 26. The award recognises NADP’s pioneering role in bridging management education with the practical realities of defence manufacturing, strategic industries, governance, and national capability building.
NADP’s AICTE-approved PGDM programme with focus on Sunrise Defence Sectorm combines academic rigour with industry immersion, expert interactions, live projects, and capstone assignments within Defence PSUs and Ordnance Factories. The Academy has achieved 100% internship success for two consecutive years and 100% placement for its inaugural batch.
Beyond classroom education, NADP has also emerged as a significant contributor to national capacity building through its knowledge and content creation initiatives on the iGOT Karmayogi platform under Mission Karmayogi. Through high-impact digital learning modules, case studies, and competency-based training content, NADP is supporting the development of future-ready civil servants and professionals aligned with India’s governance and strategic priorities. NADP has created the higest content in Defence Domain and more than 5 lakh learners have completed its courses with high rating of 4.5 above in a scale of 5 for its courses.
Its growing industry network includes leading organisations such as L&T PES, Tata Advanced Systems Limited, Adani Defence, KPMG, PwC and Mahindra & Mahindra.
