Nagpur. 18 July 2024. Wg Cdr Arvind Pandey (Retd), a decorated veteran of the Kargil War, delivered an inspiring leadership talk to the PGDM (BM) 2024-26 Batch students of NADP Students. Drawing experience from his extensive service life and battlefield experiences, Wg Cdr Pandey shared invaluable lessons on leadership, resilience, and strategic thinking.
He emphasized the crucial role of Light Combat Helicopters in supporting missions through logistics support, casualty evacuation, and transportation of troops and materials. His vivid description of maneuvering into battle zones, targeting with precision, and evading enemy attacks with flares brought the realities of war to life for the students.
During the Kargil War, he actively participated in all attacks, including night operations, under Operation Vijay. He was awarded Mention in Despatches (M-in-D) for his pivotal role in the Kargil War by President.
