Moscow. 21 August 2021. The production version of the brand-new MP-155 Ultima SMART shotgun will be demonstrated by the Kalashnikov Group at International Military-Technical Forum “ARMY-2021”. Starting from August 22, 2021, the brand-new shotgun is available for pre-order on Kalashnikov. Market at the price of ₽130,000, which is equivalent to around 1700 USD.
“Over the past year, we have improved the onboard computer and now it is also Android-based. The shotgun design has also been adapted to use with a pistol grip. Now we are ready to launch it for sale,” said Valentin Vlasenko, the Civilian Sector Development Director at Kalashnikov Group.
The prototype model of the MP-155 Ultima was presented for the first time a year ago at the Forum “ARMY-2020”. Its world premier took place in February 2021 at IDEX 2021 Exhibition in Abu Dhabi.
The gun is designed to meet the requirements of modern users who cannot go without hi-tech gadgets. The gun is based on the reliable hunting rifle MP-155.
The Ultima exterior elements are made of aircraft aluminium alloy and high-tech polymers. The onboard computer features a digital display, clock, compass, stopwatch, timer, shot counter and ammo indicator and is Android-based.
The shotgun is chambered for 12/70 cartridge, the magazine capacity is 7 (+1) rounds. The barrel length – 510 mm, total length – 810/1020 mm, weight – 4.2 kg
