Indo-Pacific Geo-Intelligence 2023

New Delhi. 05 June 2023. The highly anticipated Geospatial World Conference 2023 is set to take place on 6th and 7th June at the Tango Ballroom and Demo Area (Exhibition Hall). The purpose of this distinguished event, organised by Geospatial World, India, is to improve the use of geospatial technologies for disaster management and national security by bringing together important stakeholders from the military and security sectors. The conference promises to be a forum for knowledge sharing and cooperation with an exceptional lineup of keynote speakers, plenary sessions, and technological demonstrations.

The conference starts on June 6 with an Opening Session featuring eminent speakers like Kamal Kishore, Dr. G. Satheesh Reddy, Vice Admiral Sanjay Mahindru, Lt. Gen. AKS Chandele, and Lt. Gen. DS Rana. These leaders will speak to the crowd and establish the conference’s tone. The Vote of Thanks will be given by Geospatial World’s founder and CEO, Sanjay Kumar. Participants will have the chance to tour the exhibition hall after the opening session during the exhibition opening and tea/coffee break. This offers the chance to speak with business leaders and learn about cutting-edge technology.

Keith Masback will preside over the first plenary, “Indo-Pacific and Evolving World Order.” Robert Cardillo, Hirokazu Mori, Brig. Arun Sahgal, and Gautam Mukhopadhyaya are among the keynote speakers who will talk about the geopolitical environment and its effects on military and security. Lt. Gen. Vinod G. Khandare will preside over the second plenary session, “GEOINT Data Fusion for Real-Time Intelligence.” Distinguished speakers include Andy Stephenson, Major General Dato’ Hj Ya’cob bin Hj Samiran, Randall Billy, James McAden, and James McAden will discuss the significance of data fusion for real-time intelligence.

Following a networking lunch and a trip to the exhibition, attendees will assemble for the third plenary session, “Advancing Space Infrastructure for Defence and Security.” Speakers in this session, which is being moderated by John Kedar, will cover the most recent developments in space infrastructure, including Chirag Parikh, Gary Dunow, Lt. Gen. PJS Pannu, Brig. G. Manoj, John Whitehead, and Giuseppe Nobile.

The day is brought to a close by a plenary session on “Cybersecurity and Data Sovereignty.” The event, which will be presided over by Lt Gen (Dr) Rajesh Pant, will have remarks from speakers such as Lt Gen M Unnikrishnan Nair, VS Subramanian, Jasbir Solanki, Cdr Mukesh Saini, Vinit Goenka, and Vikas Tiwari. The crucial topics of cybersecurity and data sovereignty in the digital era will be covered throughout the discussion.

The conference’s second day begins with the plenary “Geospatial World: Accelerating Decision Advantage (Sensors to Shooters).” The event’s chair and speaker will be AVM Sanjay Bhatnagar, and other specialists such as Col. Milan Patnaik, Royston Ong, Madhav Ragam, and Dr. Rao Ramayanam will share their knowledge on utilising geospatial technologies for improved decision-making.

Lt Gen Sanjay Verma will preside over the next session, “Situational Awareness: Space, Maritime, and Land.” speakers including Brigadier Chaudhary, Takayuki Od, and Air Cmdr. Ashish Baduni. Speakers like Air Cmd Ashish Baduni, Brig Chaudhary, Takayuki Odaka, and Capt Jason Tama will explore the significance of situational awareness across various domains and talk about advancements in space-based, maritime-based, and land-based geospatial technologies in the session “Situational Awareness: Space, Maritime, and Land,” which is chaired by Lt Gen Sanjay Verma.

Dr. Kedar Apte will preside over the subsequent session, which is themed “Emerging Technologies: AI, ML, and Automation.” Dr. Ruchi Saxena, Dr. Andrej Lajovic, Jaya Bhattacharya, and Lt. Gen. Rohit Verma are among the few of the experts who will provide insight into how automation, machine learning, and artificial intelligence are revolutionising the field of defence and security applications.

Participants will have the option to join concurrent breakout sessions concentrating on certain topics of interest after a networking lunch. Geospatial intelligence, unmanned systems, geospatial data analytics, disaster management, and other topics will be covered in these breakout sessions. These sessions will be given by well-known authorities in each field, allowing for in-depth debates and information sharing. The Demo Area will feature live demonstrations and interactive displays exhibiting the most recent geospatial technologies and solutions in addition to the breakout sessions. Dr. Andrew Brooks, Director of Geospatial World, India, will deliver the keynote lecture at the conference’s closing ceremony.
