HAMME, Belgium, June 7 2023 — Established Flight Simulator Manufacturers EURAMEC announced today the acquisition of ISR and Mission Training capabilities of robust and tested solutions in operation today in the European and US law enforcement and defense community.

EURAMEC expanded operations with new subsidiaries in Denver, CO in the USA and in the UK to showcase its expertise in the fields of commercial and military flight simulation and training together with added ISR and Law Enforcement Training.

Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) provides the foundation for all military operations, and its principles have been used in warfare for centuries. The individual elements of ISR are:

  • Intelligence: the final product derived from surveillance and reconnaissance, fused with other information;
  • Surveillance: the persistent monitoring of a target; and
  • Reconnaissance: information-gathering conducted to answer a specific military question.

Synchronizing for Success
“Now is the time to present our extended offering of a practical, task-oriented training to improve on the interoperability, coherence and effectiveness of Joint NATO ISR doctrine and procedures,” Bert Buyle, CEO EURAMEC said. “We are equally committed to providing the best training possible to all law enforcement organizations we serve today. To provide career-long training to law enforcement professionals and help them fulfill their responsibilities safely and proficiently is our mission.”

EURAMEC will have mission-critical systems used in the simulation of Electro-optic/Infrared (EO/IR) sensors on display at the Belgium Pavilion, Hall 2b F38. Together with simulation of electronic warfare (EW), tactical operations (TAC0), radar and acoustics, EURAMEC supplies integrated crew and mission training systems.

EURAMEC USA recently delivered several ISR simulation solutions to Law Enforcement agencies in North and Latin America.

Customer Involvement is key
Bert Buyle: “We consider every single project a customized solution. The customer participates in the product development from the start of every program.”

This customer-centric approach has allowed aircraft manufacturers to build long-term business partnership agreements with EURAMEC. “Manufacturers appreciate our flexibility and cost efficiency. We are proud to say some use our expertise in simulator development by engaging us in the design of new generation aircraft,” Bert Buyle explained.

In-house expertise is what brings EURAMEC also into Business Aviation pilot training. With significant shortages in simulator slots on key aircraft types and upcoming changes to simulator certification regulation, EURAMEC is offering new solutions for the training of Business Aviation pilots. This includes training devices for “green” aircraft models and for new Urban Mobility Vehicles.

Recent Success
The company recently supplied a Diamond DA-40/DA-42 simulator and a Tecnam P2010 Flight Simulator, both FNPT-II certified. Furthermore, a type-specific FTD2 twin turboprop simulator was delivered to an OEM partner.

Recently EURAMEC was awarded the contract for a Full Flight A320 simulator (FFS).
