Berlin, Germany – 10 June 2026 – At ILA Berlin 2026, Deutsche Aircraft will present its integrated uncrewed aircraft capability, expanding its portfolio to support civil and governmental multi‑role operations.

The uncrewed system is a mature, fully developed product that complements Deutsche Aircraft’s crewed aircraft offering. The company’s engagement is focused on market introduction, production enablement and system integration.

Designed to Complement the D328® Multi‑Role Concept

Engineered to support and extend the operational effectiveness of the D328MR, the uncrewed aircraft is specifically suited for missions requiring persistence, extended reach and risk reduction.

In these mission concepts, the D328MR remains the primary platform, while the uncrewed aircraft is deployed as a complementary asset.

Typical applications include:

  • Maritime and border surveillance
  • ISR missions
  • Disaster response and civil protection
  • Environmental monitoring and SAR support

Portfolio Flexibility and Industrial Integration

The uncrewed capability is deployed in collaboration with Sierra Nevada Corporation, ensuring alignment with German and European regulatory frameworks and meeting public‑sector requirements for reliable and interoperable systems.

“Manned and unmanned systems each have a role to play. These days it is all about swiftly adding capabilities and accelerating innovation cycles to enhance mission effectiveness and getting the most out of our highly flexible platforms,” said Frederic Fischer, Director Product Roadmap & Innovation at Deutsche Aircraft.
