New Delhi. 23 January 2023. The full dress rehearsal for theRepublic Day Parade was held at Kartavya Path in New Delhi today. DelhiPolice made elaborate traffic arrangements for the smooth conduct of theParade along the route. The Parade rehearsal started at 10:30 am from VijayChowk and proceeded to Red fort. The parade passed through Vijay Chowk,Kartavyapath, C-Hexagon, roundabout of Statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose,Tilak Marg to Red Fort. The police had requested commuters to avoid these routes and plan their journey accordingly. In its traffic advisory, Delhi police had said that no traffic on Kartvyapath from Vijay Chowk to India Gate will be allowed till the parade is over. It was a house full in all stands and the mood was jubliant. Take a birds eye view of the parade.
