Moscow. 19 August 2022. Today is the closing day of Equestrian Marathon competition of International Army Games. Colonel General Alexander Lentsov, the Chief Referee of the Games, told this at the Joint Press Centre of ARMY 2022 International Military and Technical Forum and International Army Games 2022.

Equestrian Marathon has come to an end and is scheduled to close today. The results of the competition will be announced tomorrow. He also recalled that the equestrian competitions took place on the most challenging routes in Mongolia and Russia.

The opening ceremony of Special Dash competition was held yesterday as part of the Games 2022. There were 27 competitions.

Seaborne Assault competition continues at Khmelevka training ground in Kaliningrad region. With the results of two stages, the Russian team is in the lead, with Venezuela in second place and Iran in third.

Guardian of Order military police competition is held in Patriot Park near Moscow. After the second stage of Rapid Response Group, Russia, Belarus and Iran are in the top three.

Military Medical Relay Race competition continues in St Petersburg. In three exercises Individual Skills stage, the Russian Federation is in first place, with the Republic of Uzbekistan in second place and the Republic of Belarus rounding out the top three.

In Baku, Azerbaijan, the crews of the participating ships in Sea Cup competition completed the second Sea Mine Artillery Exercise. Russia and Azerbaijan share first place in the two stages, followed by Kazakhstan and Iran.

The first stage of Warrior of Peace competition, held in Armenia, has been completed. The places were as follows: Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia.

Brest training ground in Republic of Belarus hosts a demonstration of professional skills by servicemen of special-purpose units. After completing 12 exercises of Polar Star competition, the top three are special forces units from Belarus, Russia and Uzbekistan.

Tactical Shooter competition is taking place at Spassk training ground in Kazakhstan. After the 1st stage of Single Shooter and the first exercise of the second stage of Combat Pairs, team Kazakhstan had the best time, followed by China and Uzbekistan.

Two other competitions hosted by Republic of Kazakhstan are Meridian and Masters of Artillery Fire. In the competition among topographical professionals, Kazakhstan’s team led the way, with Uzbekistan in second place and China in third. The places in the mortar squad competition were as follows: Kazakhstan, Russia and Azerbaijan.

The Republic of Uzbekistan has launched Road Patrol competition. In the competition, Uzbekistan comes first, followed by Russia and Belarus in second and third place, respectively.

According to preliminary results to date, Russia leads in the overall standings, followed by Belarus and Uzbekistan.

Colonel General Aleksander Lentsov noted that more than 113,000 spectators visited the sites of the Games 2022 over the past 24 hours. The first stage of Safe Environment competition will be drawn today, according to the programme of the Games 2022, with competitions in 23 contests.
