Solon,Ohio. 26 March 2018: BIRD Aerosystems, the leading developer of Special Mission Aircraft Solutions (ASIO) and Airborne Missile Protection Systems (AMPS), has delivered a nationwide command and control C4I system to a key client. The new system delivered by BIRD Aerosystems includes a nationwide command and control C4I system that incorporates the information from the different surveillance segments, whether aircraft, helicopters, or ground sensors, and incorporates them into a unified nation-wide situation awareness picture.

The command and control system is operational 24/7, and enables to manage mission varying from routine on-going low profile missions, all the way up to full blown highly intensive pro-active missions.

The system was delivered as an extension to the ASIO program which the customer has been using over the past years, and is intended to enable the high-level commanders to more effectively oversee and manage the missions, and create valuable intelligence information.

This is the first nationwide command and control system delivered by BIRD Aerosystems. The system incorporates additional functions such as high-level mission planning for the different forces and a very detailed mission debrief as well.

Ronen Factor, BIRD Aerosystems’ Co-Chief Executive Officer and Founder: “We are excited to provide an advanced nationwide command and control system to a key client, which is already using BIRD Aerosystems ASIO program for a number of years.
