Westerly, Rhode Island — AMETEK SCP, part of the AMETEK Electronic Interconnect & Packaging (EIP), has achieved a perfect score in a rigorous U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity assessment. This reinforced its position as a trusted manufacturer for high-reliability defense applications. The achievement follows the business’s recent selection as one of five suppliers for a critical U.S. Navy platform component program.

U.S. Navy Platform Component Contract Award
AMETEK SCP was recently awarded a major contract for the design, manufacture, test, package, and delivery of hull penetrator assembly, a key component of U.S. Navy platforms. This contract supports the Navy’s strategy to establish qualified sources for mission-critical components.

As part of the contract requirements, AMETEK SCP completed a Level 2 cybersecurity assessment conducted by the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).
