Airbus Defence and Space and Comand AI have signed at Eurosatory in Paris a partnership to jointly deliver the European sovereign, AI-native command and control (C2) capabilities to support allied armed forces, including NATO.
Modern operational theatres demand decision cycles measured in seconds. As the volume of available information continues to grow, the decisve factor is no longer access to data, but the ability to convert that data into operational decisions faster than the adversary.
This partnership combines Airbus Defence and Space scale, expertise, and experience of designing and delivering mission-critical integrated AI powered defence products to allied forces, with Comand AI’s ability to build software designed for the age of autonomous systems, AI, and complementary algorithmic decision-making. Together, the two companies will deliver the next generation of AI-native command and control capabilities.
As part of this partnership, Airbus will integrate Comand AI’s Prevail platform into its command and control ecosystem. The resulting offering will enable military headquarters to integrate and transform growing volumes of battlefield data into actionable decisions, accelerate manoeuvre planning, and maintain situational awareness under severe time and resource constraints, when every second counts.
By working with forward-thinking partners like Command AI, Airbus Defence and Space is paving the way for next-generation C5ISR systems based on sovereign, NATO-interoperable, European technology.
