Sydney, August 11, 2026 – Vietjet and Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport (WSI) has exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding and announced a new direct service between Ho Chi Minh City and Western Sydney, expanding air connectivity between the two countries while supporting tourism, trade, investment, innovation and people-to-people links. The agreement was exchanged at the Vietnam – Australia Tech Connect Forum in Sydney.
Operating two round-trip services per week, the new route will connect Ho Chi Minh City – Vietnam’s leading economic hub – with Western Sydney, one of Australia’s emerging growth centres, facilitating greater movement of people and goods and supporting expanding trade and investment between the two economies.- Sale period: from now to 11:00 p.m., August 16, 2026 (GMT+7)
