Moscow. Premiere demonstration of a promising Russian long-haul aircraft MC-21-300 equipped with a passenger cabin interior will be held in august during the XIV International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2019, according to by Denis Manturov, Minister of industry and trade of Russian Federation.

According to him, a MC-21 demonstration in Zhukovskiy « will allow to visually demonstrate to potential customers and future passengers one of the most important competitive advantages of the Russian liner – an increased level of comfort».

The third prototype of MC-21-300 began its flight test program on 16th of March, 2019. The first and the second liners of this type have arrived at this time to the «Ramenskoe» airfield of the Gromov Flight Research Institute and are participating in test flights. It is expected that the fourth MC-21 prototype will take off before the end of 2019.

Liner certification is scheduled for the year 2020.
