Nagpur. 01 June 2023. 450 girls of 3 Mah Bn NCC, Nagpur are undergoing training in Combined Annual Training Camp at Warora. They will be trained in various military skills like firing, drill, tent pitching, map reading etc by army officers & NCC officials in the 10 day camp.
The ratio of women in the NCC has increased significantly over the years, going from about 13% in 2010 to around 35% this year. Some states have a higher ratio of women cadets. States like Delhi, Kerala, and north eastern states have higher numbers of girls, with some states having almost 50 per cent girl cadets,
