Hanoi. 14 August 2019. It was announced  that the forthcoming edition of Homeland Security Expo, Vietnam’s longest running homeland security expo, will now be held at the NCC Hanoi in March 2020 alongside VIDSE 2020, the new tri-service defence expo and conference launched by Clarion Events & HADIFA in 2018.

The move will create a major platform for the Asia-Pacific defence and security community and positions Vietnam as a regional hub for innovation and partnership building.

Clarion and HADIFA recently announced that VIDSE has secured full support and endorsement from both the PAVN and Ministry of Interior, and so exhibitors at the upcoming 4th edition of Homeland Security Expo Vietnam in March 2020 will now be able to benefit from increased promotion and exposure to both security and military customers in Vietnam.

Homeland Security Expo (Vietnam) was previously staged in October at the Hanoi Exhibition Centre, where the event has taken place annually since its’ inauguration in 2016.

VK Bansal, Director of Nexgen Exhibitions Pvt said “Homeland Security Expo Vietnam has been Vietnam’s leading event for the sector since 2016; however the opportunity to collaborate with VIDSE gives us the opportunity to take the event to the next level. Combining this with the chance to move the event out to the highly prestigious National Convention Centre made the decision to reschedule the next edition of Homeland Security Vietnam into 2020 a very easy one to make. We are confident this is good news for all of our existing customers.”

Tim Porter, Managing Director of Clarion said “Homeland Security Expo has been running in Vietnam since 2016, and so bringing it alongside VIDSE in 2020 is a really positive development, creating a truly unique opportunity for Vietnam’s defence and security communities to come together under one roof at one event in March 2020.

Lan Anh, Managing Director of HADIFA said “The enthusiasm the defence and security industry here in Vietnam has shown since we first started promoting VIDSE back in 2018 has been tremendous, and we are confident that Homeland Security Expo’s shift to 2020 alongside VIDSE will be warmly received as well”

By co-locating VIDSE and Homeland Security Expo, Vietnam’s defence and security community will be able to meet, build partnerships and increase capabilities on a scale never seen before in the country.
