Rome (Italy), August 5, 2024 – Flight Training Alliance (FTA), a joint venture between Lufthansa Aviation Training and CAE, and an Airbus Authorized Training Provider, inaugurated a state-of-the-art CAE-built 7000XR Airbus A220 full-flight simulator (FFS).This latest generation FFS is designed to replicate the flight characteristics and systems of the Airbus A220 and will be located at the ITA Airways Flight Centre at Rome Fiumicino International Airport.
Equipped with high-fidelity visuals, an immersive cockpit environment, and realistic flight dynamics, the simulator will serve as a critical training tool for ITA Airways pilots, ensuring they are thoroughly prepared to operate the aircraft safely and efficiently. The simulator is also available to train other A220 customers of FTA.
