Paris. 02 June 2023. Expleo, a global player in engineering, technology and consulting, will be present at the 54th edition of the International Aeronautics and Space Show, the major gathering of players in the world industry around the latest technological innovations, from June 19 to 25, 2023.

The Paris-Le Bourget International Aeronautics and Space Show is the largest event in the world dedicated to the aeronautics and space industry. The 54th edition is being held from June 19 to 25, 2023 at the Paris-Le Bourget Exhibition Centre and will once again bring together all the players in the global industry around the latest technological innovations with nearly 2,500 exhibitors from 50 countries.

According to the “Business Transformation Index 2023*” study conducted by Expleo, the two technological drivers of transformation plans in the aeronautics and space sector are cybersecurity for 51% of companies and data management for 46% of companies. It is therefore necessary to find solutions, in particular through digitized and sustainable solutions.

On the occasion of the SIAE and with more than 40 years of experience in the field, Expleo will present its innovations which contribute to reinventing the aircraft and space technologies of the next generation, to improving the competitiveness and the transition of the sector towards a future more responsible. Expleo will also present how its digitized offer accelerates the design, manufacturing and reliability of projects for major players in the aeronautics and space sector.

During the SIAE, Expleo will join the biggest players in the aeronautics sector to discuss the major issues that will help shape the future of the aeronautics and space industry throughout the value chain:

Cockpit controls

Developed by Expleo subsidiary Stirling Dynamics, these simulator controls replicate the dynamic feel of an aircraft cockpit for a truer-than-life flight experience.

Electrification and sustainability

Expleo’s range of electric solutions for aircraft enables aircraft manufacturers to meet the challenges of sustainability and urban mobility and shapes the future of aeronautical and space techniques, in particular with electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL).

Smart Series

Combining Expleo’s technological and technical expertise, this set of digital tools automates high-volume, repetitive tasks in manufacturing and assembly processes. Resources are thus freed up for other activities with higher added value.

Cybersecurity

ExpleoSmeeta is a physical and software platform that combines a proprietary cybersecurity testing device with electronic components to conduct risk analysis, security assessment and conduct investigations.

During days open to the general public, the Expleo teams will also welcome those who are interested in a career as an engineer or technician or PhD/Doctor within our teams and whose today’s projects are the aeronautics, space and defence of tomorrow.

“The aerospace industry is changing rapidly to adapt to the needs of the sector and consumer expectations, by accelerating production and marketing rates, improving the user experience, while taking into account the challenges increasing sustainability. During the Paris Air Show, Expleo will present its solutions which cover the entire value chain of aeronautics and space players and which meet the most pressing challenges of our partners and customers, such as our Smart Series solution which facilitates task automation or our eVTOL electrification solution. Our teams of engineers and technicians are proud to contribute to the transformation of our industry”, explained Jeff Hoyle, EVP Aeronautics, Space and Defense.

“Our teams are mobilized to make the experience of visitors to our stand at the Paris Air Show an unforgettable moment. The key to the success of the aerospace sector will lie in its ability to combine new technologies with engineering excellence . We look forward to putting our very specific skills, our ability to offer breakthrough technologies and processes, at the service of major players to actively contribute to the innovation projects that will make the aviation of tomorrow. says Alexandre Willemont, SVP Aeronautics and Defense, Expleo.
