Dubai. 12 November 2017. A steady military market, a blitzkrieg of orders in commercial aviation, a growing unmanned arena , a fast-forward space industry and state-of-the-art airport modernisation industry- Dubai this year promises to be the hub for all these varied markets for the next five days.

The Dubai Airshow 2017 with more than 1200 exhibitors promises to be a big conglomeration of the aerospace industry and the militaries of the region.
As always all eyes will wait for the flying display in the skies above Dubai. Aerobatic teams PLAAF August 1st Air Demonstration Team from China; the Russian Knights and the UAE’s Al Fursan, an Airbus A350 and a Beriev BE200 ES demonstrating its firefighting ability, be helicopters including the TAI T129 attack helicopter performing for the first time at the Dubai Airshow and a US Airforce F16, UAE Mirage 2000 and a Taqnia AN132, will all thunder above the show.

The Space Conference and Pavilion with speakers including Apollo 15 Command Module Pilot Col. Al Worden, USAF-Ret; Cargo Zone, the UAS Summit and Airport Solutions which has been re-launched by Tarsus F&E LLC Middle East for 2017 as part of the Airport Solutions Global Series, are expected to be the great draws.

Career orientation in the aviation industry courtesy the Gulf Aviation Training Event (GATE), now in its fourth edition, has expanded to include panel discussions on maintenance and crew training in addition to pilot training. Futures Day, aimed at inspiring the next generation of aerospace professionals, is also going to be the cynosure of all eyes on day five of the show in conjunction with leading UAE universities.

The static display will feature over 160 aircraft on display, including Airbus A380s from both Emirates Airline and Etihad Airways; the Motor Sich Mi2 and Mi8 MSB-T helicopters; business jets such as a Gulfstream G650ER and Bombardier Global 6000 Anka MALE Class UAV. Appearing at the Dubai Airshow for the first time will be the Sukhoi Superjet 100 and the Japanese Air Force Kawasaki C2, in addition to first time exhibitor Calidus displaying two aircraft: the B-250 Bader and the TX-C.

F&E Aerospace, the Dubai Air Navigation Services, Dubai Civil Aviation and the Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates are celebrating their annual Dubai Airshow 2017, have left no stone unturned to attract all the nations big and small. Business promises to be brisk. Russia and China, keen to assert their influence in Middle East will have a big presence, with both displaying fighter jets. US pavilion is going to be the largest and Europe as a whole not to be left far behind. Africa and Latin America as always will have a presence though limited. Asia-Pacific region to has a good showcasing as per the entries.
8th Dubai Air Chiefs Conference (DIAC) 2017, at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai is a going to be a brainstorming of air forces of the world and promises to attract attention like previous years.

The invincible trio of the region Emirates, Qatar and Etihad will be there and orders hopefully should be raining.

The other airlines especially the low-cost carriers should also be there. As the foremost platform to promote trends and discuss issues that will help develop the Middle East aviation industry,the show promises to be a success.
