September 28, Delft, Netherlands: Robin Radar Systems officially announces its highly anticipated Delft HQ, a 9,000sqm manufacturing, research, engineering and operations facility in Delft, tripling the company’s previous operational capacity and creating one of Europe’s largest facilities dedicated to radar development and production just two weeks after the opening of its new operational facility in North Virginia.

Three times larger than Robin Radar’s previous headquarters, the Delft HQ represents a major expansion of Europe’s sovereign defence industrial base at a time when demand for counter-UAS technology is accelerating at an unprecedented rate. Following three consecutive years of 60% year-on-year growth and an installed global base of more than 800 radar systems, Robin Radar is expanding its operational footprint to meet increasing demand from defence organisations, government agencies and critical infrastructure operators across Europe, the Middle East, North America and allied nations.

The facility announcement comes as global conflicts and sustained geopolitical instability continue to reshape defence and homeland security priorities. From protecting military bases and critical infrastructure to securing major public events such as the FIFA World Cup, governments are increasingly turning to proven, off-the-shelf counter-UAS systems that can be delivered rapidly and continuously improved as threats evolve.

The increased capacity at the Delft HQ will allow Robin Radar to accelerate the development and industrialisation of existing and future radar systems, with expanded capabilities for prototyping, specialised production, system integration, testing and servicing. Designed to support Robin Radar’s next phase of growth, the facility will provide greater capacity to develop new product lines and customer-specific solutions, while working alongside manufacturing partners to scale series production in line with growing global demand.

Operational feedback from live deployments in Ukraine, the EU, and the Gulf have already driven major software innovations, including IRIS Long Range Mode, which extended the system’s instrumented range from five to twelve kilometres, and Robin Radar’s new maritime capability, enabling IRIS to operate aboard large vessels. With the HQ now operational, the company expects to accelerate this innovation cycle while substantially increasing manufacturing output to meet growing global demand.

The new headquarters has also been designed to support Robin Radar’s long-term growth. By the end of the year, the company expects to employ more than 300 people, with capacity for continued expansion in the years ahead. Its customer support and service facilities have increased fourfold to support Robin Radar’s rapidly growing global installed base, while its location adjacent to Delft University of Technology strengthens access to world-class engineering talent and reinforces the company’s long-term innovation pipeline.

Beyond production, the HQ represents a significant investment in European technological sovereignty. As NATO members seek trusted regional suppliers capable of delivering critical defence technologies at scale, the ability to manufacture, develop and continuously improve radar systems entirely within Europe has become strategically important. The new facility strengthens both the resilience of Robin Radar’s supply chain and Europe’s wider counter-UAS industrial ecosystem.
