New Delhi. 30 November 2022. To celebrate 75th year of Independence and ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava’, NCC directorate, Maharashtra, and NCC Group Amravati has organised 2200 km long CYCLE Rally MAHAPARIKRAMA. The cycle rally started from Jalgaon and reached Nagpur on 27 Nov 22. On 29 November, the cycle rally was flagged off by Colonel CPS Soemwal, Officer Commanding, 2 Mah Arty Bty NCC, Nagpur for Wardha. The Cycle rally is lead by Lt Col CP Badola, Adm Offr 11 Mah Bn NCC and consist of 01 Jco, 01 ANO & 10 NCC Cadets. The Cycle will cover a distance of 2200 km in 22 days including locations of Jalgaon, Akola, Amravati, Nagpur, Wardha, Yavatmal, Pandharpur, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Pune & Mumbai.
