Al Manama ship to Royal Bahrain Naval ForceBahrain. 24 January 2018.  Leonardohas delivered  the first fully upgraded ship,  ahead of schedule, equipped with state-of-the-art systems to The Royal Bahrain Naval Force, which  awarded the company a contract to upgrade six vessels in 2015.
During a ceremony in Mina Salman at Royal Bahrain Navy Head Quarter, Leonardo handed over the first of six upgraded Al Manama naval vessels . The upgrade included a new weapon control system, training services and logistics. This is just one of the latest in a string of successes for Leonardo in Bahrain, where the company has also supplied advanced air traffic control radar systems, which are enhancing the safety and efficiency of the country’s national airspace management.
