INVESTITURE CEREMONY HELD AT NAVY CHILDREN SCHOOL, DELHI.

The Investiture Ceremony is one of the momentous occasions when the mantle of responsibility is entrusted to the newly appointed Student Council. The ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly elected office bearers. Delegation of authority to the children is important as it inculcates leadership values and makes them responsible citizens.

The newly appointed Student Council has 35 members from Classes IX to XII, chosen through a rigorous selection process. The Student Council will oversee the school activities for the current academic year through its various sub-committees. Master Saatvick Saxena and Miss Advika Sharma of Class XII will lead the Student Council as Head Boy and Head Girl respectively. They will be assisted by Master Ishaan Sood and Miss Priyam Kundu of class XI, elected as the Deputy Head Boy and Deputy Head Girl.

The Chief Guest presented appointment sashes and administered oath to the newly elected appointees. During his address, the Chief Guest told the appointees that leadership involves accepting responsibilities, upholding values and motivating others. He also urged them to lead with passion, purpose and empathy; fostering a positive environment.

The Chief Guest and other dignitaries also interacted with the members of the Student Council after the ceremony.
