BURTON, UK. 26 JUNE 2018. Doncasters Group Ltd has announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Duncan Hinks, will be leaving the business at the end of September.

Duncan has been with the Staffordshire-headquartered multinational business since 2011 and has played a key role in a number of significant milestones, most recently the sale of a non-core subsidiary business for around $440m as part of the company’s strategy to focus more keenly on its core business of manufacturing specialist alloy components for the aerospace, power generation and automotive industries.

Duncan commented: “Doncasters has been a major part of my life for the past 7 years, but I feel that the time is now right for me to step down and seek another role. This certainly wasn’t an easy decision and I’d like to thank the teams and individuals I’ve worked with over the years for their hard work and commitment to our goals.”

David Smoot, Doncasters’ CEO said: “Duncan has been a tremendous member of my senior team and on a personal level I’d like to wish him well for the future.
