Rehovot, Israel, October 01 2026 – Maris-Tech Ltd. (Nasdaq: MTEK, MTEKW), a provider of advanced defense technology solutions, will highlight its battle-proven situational awareness solution for manned and unmanned armored fighting vehicles at AUSA 2026.
Modern armored vehicles operate in complex environments characterized by limited visibility, asymmetric ground threats, and the growing presence of low-cost aerial systems. Crews must interpret multiple sensor feeds, manage blind spots and make split-second decisions under significant operational pressure.
Maris-Tech addresses this challenge by bringing video processing and AI directly to the vehicle edge. The solution fuses and stitches up to 12 synchronized day and thermal sensors into a single real-time operational picture, providing 360° coverage and true 3D spatial awareness. AI-based capabilities enable real-time detection, classification and tracking of both ground and aerial threats, including drones.
Built around Maris-Tech’s complete edge AI video pipeline, the technology manages the process from multi-sensor acquisition and processing through AI analytics and low-latency video distribution. Rather than presenting crews with fragmented video feeds, it delivers a coherent, vehicle-centric operational view, reducing cognitive load and supporting faster decision-making.
The system can also integrate with onboard weapon and fire-control systems, supporting reduced sensor-to-shooter latency and faster operational response. Its compact, low-SWaP, modular and OEM-ready architecture enables advanced video processing and AI capabilities within the size, weight and power constraints of armored platforms. Designed for both new and retrofit vehicles, the solution can be configured to specific platform and mission requirements.
Maris-Tech’s situational awareness technology is already deployed on more than 1,000 operational platforms, including main battle tanks and D9 armored engineering vehicles, and is currently undergoing testing on next-generation APC platforms.
“Today, providing crews with more cameras is not enough. The challenge is to turn multiple sensor feeds into one clear and actionable operational picture,” said Israel Bar, CEO of Maris-Tech. “Our edge AI technology processes and analyzes the information where it is generated, enabling crews to identify threats earlier, understand their surroundings faster and respond more effectively.”
