RAF Eurofighter Typhoon
Escorted by an RAF Eurofighter Typhoon, the UK’s first submarine-hunting P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft arrives at Kinloss Barracks in Morayshire after crossing the Atlantic from NAS Jacksonville.

The company is now delighted to announce it will be supporting the Ministry of Defence’s Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) P-8A Poseidon programme under the Airworthiness Issue Management System (AIMS) contract.

The nine Poseidon MRA Mk.1 (P-8A), which will be flown by the RAF, will be the latest type to be onboarded onto the company’s award-winning Resolve software that helps the MoD’s Delivery Team to track and manage airworthiness-related issues in a way that is compliant with the UK Military Aviation Authority’s engineering regulations.

The principal benefit of Resolve is that it provides a single source of reference with a transparent, auditable view of all actions and tasks relating to key issues.  The advantages of the system are numerous, including: the management and mitigation of key risks, the provision of easily accessible management information and presentation of a complete audit trail.

The services and products in the company’s portfolio are designed to evolve in-line with the ever-changing airworthiness and safety environment. Training in the use of the Resolve software is provided as part of tlmNexus’ managed application service.
