New Delhi. 31 January 2018. 43 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 22 Sect AR/ IGAR (East) conducted a weapon display show & Army/ Assam Rifles Mela at District Sports Authority ground, Haflong, Assam.
The weapon display show was part of “Know your Assam Rifles/ Army” campaign. A Career Guidance Cell was established including a mini obstacle course to inculcate sense of adventure among the children. Approx 650 students from various schools of Haflong attended the event and gained valuable knowledge and guidance regarding the Army/ Assam Rifles as a career.
