• Honeywell’s flying testbed will showcase new seamless, high-speed internet connectivity designed for government and military users

Victoria, Australia.  28 February 2023 . Honeywell’s iconic Boeing 757 test aircraft will be participating in Australian International Airshow 2023 (Avalon) from 28 February 2023 to 5 March 2023. At Avalon Airport, the 40-year-old testbed will showcase the latest aerospace and defense technological innovations and conduct several demonstration flights.

Flight demonstrations will allow participants the opportunity to experience Resilient Beyond Visual Line of Sight Communications (BVLOS) through Honeywell and Inmarsat’s SATCOM systems and software solutions. Honeywell will illustrate the significance of secure connectivity in a seamless, reliable, and secure environment through a simulated real-world mission scenario.

“Our 757 draws a crowd wherever it goes, but it’s the technology in the plane that deserves the attention,” says Matt Milas, President, Defense and Space, Honeywell Aerospace. “The newest technologies on this aircraft will demonstrate how the battlefield can be seamlessly connected from space, air, and ground.
