With a resounding call to “build the future here,” Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin inaugurated AeroDefCon2025/Aerospace and Defence Meetings (ADM) Chennai 2025, positioning the state as India’s most dynamic launchpad for defence innovation, global collaboration, and high-technology manufacturing. Declaring Tamil Nadu “future-ready for defence, innovation, and investment,” CM Stalin invited the world’s leading aerospace and defence stakeholders to partner with the state’s thriving ecosystem. “From the Defence Corridor to the global stage, Tamil Nadu is writing a new chapter in self-reliance and co-creation,” he affirmed, as the state showcased its bold vision to emerge as a strategic hub in the global supply chain.
“Tamil Nadu is open to global partnerships in aerospace and defence. Our government is committed to building a vibrant, innovation-driven ecosystem that can power India’s self-reliance,” declared Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin, inaugurating Aerospace & Defence Meetings (ADM) Chennai 2025 fondly christened AeroDefCon 2025 by his team member Dr. TRB Raja. Positioning Tamil Nadu as a Strategic Hub, in a confident and future-forward address, the Chief Minister laid out Tamil Nadu’s aspirations and achievements in the aerospace and defence sectors.
“ADM Chennai is not just a trade show. It is a statement. A statement that Tamil Nadu is ready for take-off , as a global manufacturing and technology hub in the aerospace and defence sectors,” he emphasised Tamil Nadu’s strong industrial base, world-class infrastructure, and skilled workforce as critical enablers for global OEMs and Indian companies alike.
Leveraging the Defence Industrial Corridor and highlighting the role of the Tamil Nadu Defence Industrial Corridor (TNDIC), the Chief Minister stated, “ The Defence Industrial Corridor is a game-changer. With dedicated nodes at Chennai, Coimbatore, Hosur, Salem, and Tiruchirappalli — it offers plug-and-play infrastructure, fast-track approvals, and a vibrant ecosystem for MSMEs and large industries.” He assured investors that Tamil Nadu is “not only policy-ready but future-ready,” and invited both Indian and foreign companies to explore long-term collaboration.
Commitment to Atmanirbhar Bharat, he aligned the state’s aerospace vision with the national agenda of self-reliance, “We fully support the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Tamil Nadu’s manufacturing prowess can be a pillar for India’s defence exports and technological sovereignty.” He pointed to the increasing number of MoUs, private investments, and technology transfers as signs of the state’s growing role in India’s defence industrial journey.
Encouraging Global Collaboration he “Come, invest, co-create, and grow with Tamil Nadu. We offer stability, scale, and sustainability — the three things every serious investor seeks.” He expressed confidence that ADM Chennai would result in meaningful B2B engagements, partnerships, and future joint ventures.
With its robust infrastructure, strategic industrial corridors, and investor-friendly policies, Tamil Nadu has firmly established itself as a preferred destination for defence and aerospace manufacturing in India. Anchored by the Tamil Nadu Defence Industrial Corridor (TNDIC), the state offers a thriving ecosystem of public and private sector enterprises, MSMEs, start-ups, and R&D institutions dedicated to high-technology innovation. Home to leading defence PSUs, HAL facilities, ISRO-linked units, and top academic institutions, Tamil Nadu boasts skilled talent, advanced logistics, and seamless connectivity via ports, airports, and highways.
