Chennai Trade Centre. 08 October 2025. It’s more than a name — it’s a call to every young Indian to protect, innovate & advocate for peace in space. India’s next gen is ready to dream beyond borders — and beyond earth. It is a mission to build a nation that bats for peace in space. A historic milestone was marked today at AeroDefCon 2025 / Aerospace & Defence Meetings (ADM) Chennai with the powerful unveiling of the emblem and mission of Indian Space Warriors – Bhartiya Antariksh Yoddha — a national movement born from the vision to inspire young India to be guardians of peace in space.
The logo was unveiled to symbolise not just a campaign, but a national awakening — a call to action for students, researchers, technocrats, and dreamers to look at the stars not just as a canvas for conquest, but a realm for peaceful innovation, strategic foresight, and technological leadership. It was an emotional and exciting unveiling by Dr. Srimathy Kesan , Founder & CEO of Space Kidz India along with Lt. Gen PJS Pannu Advisor SIAIndia, Ashwani Sharma Chairman Aeronautical Society of India (Bombay) and Rajeev Gambhir Dy DG SIAIndia.
Dr. Kesan emotionally stated, “This is more than a logo. It’s a movement to inspire the youth of India to protect peace in space, advocate for responsible exploration, and become the torchbearers of Antariksh Raksha — Space Security. At a time when outer space is fast becoming the next frontier of competition, conflict, and collaboration, India has chosen to lead with purpose. With this initiative, the message is loud and clear — “We do not militarise space – we moralise it with responsibility.”
From the shop floors of satellite component manufacturing in Tamil Nadu to the research labs of ISRO and DRDO, from academic institutes nurturing tomorrow’s scientists to young space enthusiasts drawing rocket schematics in notebooks — Indian Space Warriors is their platform. This initiative also resonates with India’s larger strategic posture — to champion the safe, secure, and sustainable use of space, upholding international norms while asserting self-reliance (Atmanirbhar Bharat) in critical space technologies.
“The stars need guardians — not with weapons, but with wisdom. This is why we l
aunch Indian Space Warriors today — to build a generation that will speak for peace in space, with an Indian voice and a universal vision,” she exhorted.
Indian Space Warriors – Bhartiya Antariksh Yoddha is India’s declaration that our rise to space dominance will be driven by knowledge, collaboration, and moral clarity. It is time to dream not just of reaching the moon or Mars — but of ensuring space remains a shared, peaceful, and progressive domain for all humanity.
At AeroDefCon 2025 / ADM Chennai, India redefined its space legacy with the unveiling of the logo of Bhartiya Antariksh Yoddha (Indian Space Warriors) by Dr. Srimathy Kesan, Founder & CEO of Space Kidz India. This inspiring initiative is not just about space exploration—it is India’s clarion call to its youth to rise as ambassadors of peace in space, shaping the future of responsible and inclusive global space governance. With this powerful movement, India champions a vision where the cosmos is a canvas for collaboration, not conflict; where defence corridors meet the stars to deliver ‘peace through space’. By placing innovation, education, and international cooperation at its core, the Indian Space Warriors programme elevates India as a strategic space peace power and ignites the imagination of a generation to dream beyond the skies.
