New Delhi, 15 Feb 2018. 30 Assam Rrifles under the aegis of 21 Sector Assam Rifles/ IGAR (E) in association with National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) Dharmanagar and NGO Socio Economic Welfare Society, Jalbassa, organized a workshop on Drug Abuse at Government Degree College Kanchanpur, North Tripura on 14 Feb 2018.

The workshop was attended by 130 students and staff of the Government Degree College Kanchanpur, who were briefed about deadly effects of drugs and spread of AIDS in the society. The Students and Staff highly appreciated the efforts of The Assam Rifles for awareness campaign against social evil.
