26th February 2026 | In a significant step toward strengthening India’s sovereign AI capabilities, the Indian Army’s Department of Military Affairs has selected CoRover to establish a state-of-the-art Sovereign AI-ML Lab powered by BharatGPT. The initiative is aimed at enabling Indian Army personnel to learn, build, and deploy advanced AI agents using CoRover’s human-centric Conversational Agentic AI platform.
CoRover’s ‘BharatGPT DeskAI Appliance’ Powered by NVIDIA has got in demand soon after its launch! The Sovereign AI-ML Lab will serve as a dedicated ecosystem for innovation, experimentation, and skill development in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Designed with a focus on national data security, scalability, and self-reliance, the lab will empower Army personnel to create AI-driven solutions tailored to operational, administrative, training, and strategic requirements.
Powered by BharatGPT, CoRover’s indigenous Language Model, the platform offers multilingual, multi modal, and multi-channel capabilities. This ensures seamless interaction across text, voice, and video interfaces, while supporting India’s diverse linguistic landscape. The Agentic AI framework will enable the creation of intelligent AI agents capable of reasoning, task execution, contextual understanding, and secure deployment within sovereign infrastructure.
Through this collaboration, Army personnel will gain hands-on exposure to designing and launching AI agents that can automate workflows, enhance decision-making, streamline communication, and improve knowledge management. The lab will also foster internal capability-building, encouraging innovation from within the forces and reducing dependence on external AI ecosystems.
