Moscow. 16 August 2022. The opening ceremony of the International Army Games 2022 Warrior of Peace international competition was held today on the parade ground of the Melkonian Military Sports Lyceum in Dilijan, Republic of Armenia.

The ceremony was opened by Major General Edward Asrian, Chief of Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, who expressed his conviction that ” Warrior of Peace competition in Armenia will be a celebration of courage, valour and military brotherhood. And it will serve to strengthen international military cooperation. He personally greeted each competitor.

Teams from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation will take part in the military professional skills competition.

 

It includes several stages in which servicemen from different countries will compete not only in professional and physical training, but also in creative and intellectual competitions. Baltic Fleet hosts the first stage of Seaborne Assault 2022 international competition

The first stage of Seaborne Assault 2022 international competition was held today at Hmelevka training ground of the Baltic Fleet. Teams from Russia, Iran, Venezuela, Tajikistan, South Ossetia and Guinea competed in the first stage of the competition, the Obstacle Course.

The first stage the Obstacle Course competition was held to determine the rating among the marine corps units. Team members in full uniform with standard weapons tackled a 1,200 metre long specialised course with 20 obstacles. Seaborne Assault international competition take place as part of International Army Games 2022 at Baltic Fleet’s Hmelevka training ground from Agust 13 to 27.
