Mumbai, 6 September 2019 – In line with the Government of India’s UDAN scheme, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport managed by GVK Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) added a new airline to its existing flight operation between Mumbai and Belgaum from 6 September 2019. Connecting Mumbai to smaller airports like Belgaum, GVK MIAL through this new operation will not only foster economic development through tourism and trade but would also accelerate growth with easy connectivity, affordability and employment. The service facilitated by Star Air will operate one flight between the two cities 4 days/week, that is from Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The beautiful city in the state of Karnataka, Belgaum is an important cultural as well as commercial hub.
